$5 “Husky Hoops” launches today!
CT Lottery and UConn® “Team Up” On a Scratch TicketWallingford, CT – December 18, 2023 -- The CT Lottery, in a partnership with the University of Connecticut and IMG College, LLC, will launch a $5 scratch ticket – Husky Hoops, which boasts more than $3.5 million in total cash prizes and top prizes of $50,000. In addition, CT residents will have the chance to win tickets to attend select men’s and women’s basketball games through social media and radio promotions.  

“We are thrilled to partner with UConn. Especially on the heels of a Men’s National Championship,” said Pete Donahue, CLC Senior Director of Marketing. “UConn is a premier brand in Connecticut due to their long history of excellence, winning and an exceptionally strong following throughout the state.”

This limited edition ticket has multiple scenes featuring iconic UConn images. The marketing campaign is themed “Ticket of Champions” as a nod to the Women’s and Men’s titles over several decades. Husky Hoops will be available at over 2,800 retailers throughout the state.

“We are always excited to team up with another strong brand in the state of Connecticut.” said David Benedict, UConn Athletic Director. “Our partnership with the CT Lottery and the various promotions in support of Husky Hoops will give our fans a unique experience to continue to celebrate our championship basketball programs in the Basketball Capitol of the World”.

Overall odds of winning a prize on the Husky Hoops ticket is 1 in 3.54. Odds vary during game. Odds winning a prize in any promotion depend on the number of eligible entries received. Terms apply.
