How to Play Play4 with Wild Ball

Play4 offers chances to win prizes from $14 up to $25,000 every day and night! Twice a day the Lottery draws four numbers that you can try to match. If you match them, you win.

Play4 is played in $.50 increments, beginning at $.50 up to $5.00 per wager. Adding the Wild Ball wager DOUBLES the cost of your wager.

You can select the numbers that you want to play by filling out a playslip. Or ask for a Play4 Day or Night "Quick Pick" to let the Lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers for you.

There are several different ways to wager in Play4

STRAIGHT: Choose four single-digit numbers from 0 to 9 in the order that you think they will be drawn by the Lottery. Match the four numbers drawn by the Lottery EXACTLY to win.
BOX: Choose four single-digit numbers from 0 to 9 that you think will be drawn by the Lottery. Match the four numbers drawn by the Lottery in ANY ORDER to win.
STRAIGHT/BOX: Choose four single-digit numbers from 0 to 9 that you think will be drawn by the Lottery. Your ticket will have both a STRAIGHT wager (match the four numbers drawn exactly) and a BOX wager (match the four numbers drawn in any order). You can win on BOTH wagers! Straight/Box wagers are only played in even dollar amounts.
PAIRS: Choose two single-digit numbers from 0 to 9 in the order that you think they will be drawn by the Lottery. You can play the FRONT pair (first two of four numbers), the BACK pair (last two of four numbers) or the SPLIT pair (first and last of four numbers). Match those two numbers to the numbers drawn by the Lottery EXACTLY to win.
COMBO: Choose four single-digit numbers from 0 to 9. Your ticket will automatically play those numbers in all possible number combinations, all on one ticket. Match one of the combinations to the four numbers drawn by the Lottery EXACTLY to win. Combo wagers are only played in $0.50 and $1.00 amounts.

Play4 tickets can be voided when printed by a Retailer's Lottery terminal. Play4 tickets cannot be voided when printed by a Lottery Vending Machine. Once printed from a Lottery Vending Machine, there is no way to cancel them.
ADVANCE ACTION: Buy tickets for future Play4 drawings with the ADVANCE ACTION option. Play up to 7 consecutive drawings in advance.
REPLAY: To play your numbers again, hand the Lottery Retailer your existing Play4 ticket and ask for a REPLAY. You will get a new Play4 ticket with the same numbers and wager amount. Your new ticket will have the REPLAY “R” printed on it. (NOTE: REPLAY is NOT available on Advance Day tickets.)

Add Wild Ball

Wild Ball is an add-on feature that gives you more ways to win!
One Wild Ball Number (0-9) will be drawn after the Play4 number is drawn. A separate Wild Ball number will be drawn for Play3.
The Wild Ball does not replace a number on your ticket. It replaces one of the numbers drawn by the Lottery.
Wild Ball doubles the cost of your wager and can only be added at time of purchase.

Yes, tickets can be purchased up to 7 consecutive drawings in advance. Simply select the ADVANCE ACTION box on the playslip or ask the Lottery Retailer for Advance Action at the time of purchase. When playing Advance Action, fill out only one board (set of numbers) per playslip. (i.e. To play four sets of numbers in advance, fill out four separate playslips.)

You do not have to wait to cash in a winning Play4 ticket when you play Advance Action. To claim your prize, present your ticket to any Lottery Retailer. They will cash your ticket, and give you an Exchange Ticket in place of your original ticket. Your Exchange Ticket will be valid for the remaining number of active drawings on the ticket.

To win a STRAIGHT prize, pick four numbers to match the winning numbers drawn - in exact order. To win a BOX prize, pick four numbers to match the winning numbers drawn - in any order.

A "Combo" wager is when your four digits are played automatically in all possible number combinations on one ticket.

The Lottery cannot legally exceed paying out more than $7,950,000.00 for a specific number combination. If the liability threshold is met, the Lottery limits sales of that number combination. The liability for Play4 Day and Play4 Night has been set at $7,950,000.00 per draw.
